FOIA Requests

Ogle County Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is a public body under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140). Members of the public may request access to district records in accordance with state law.

How to Submit a FOIA Request


FOIA requests must be submitted in writing. Your request should include:
Your name and contact information
A clear description of the records you are seeking
Whether you would like to inspect the records in person or receive copies
Whether you are requesting a fee waiver (optional)
Requests may be submitted by email, mail, or in person.
